Choose a starting print width for T-shirt fronts, backs, left-chest logos, and hats. Includes toddler, youth, and adult garment sizes.

All measurements are in inches. Measure the visible artwork, not the blank canvas. These are recommended starting sizes; check the actual garment before printing.

*12 inches is a practical cap for our 12-inch gang sheets. Leave clearance at sheet edges. Larger garments may suit larger artwork when another print format is available.

For one adult front size across an order, start at 11 inches and check the smallest shirt.

Hat height & fit

Standard hat fronts are usually 1.5–2 inches tall. For low-profile hats, start at 1.5–1.75 inches tall. Small side and back logos are usually about 1 inch tall. The hat rows show front, small back logo, and side logo widths.

Check the fit before printing

  • Trim transparent margins before measuring your design.
  • Set the width with the aspect ratio locked, then check the resulting height.
  • Keep the entire design within the garment’s printable area and your press platen.
  • Preview with a paper sample on the smallest garment in the order.
  • For hats, check panel seams, the brim, and the cap’s curve before choosing the size.
