Use this guide to prepare artwork for a custom print order with Perfect Print. Clear, correctly sized files help us reproduce your design accurately.
DTF transfers and gang sheets
- Preferred file: PNG with a transparent background. JPG/JPEG and WebP files can also be used in the online builder.
- Resolution: Prepare raster artwork at 300 PPI at the exact final print size.
- Size: Set each design to the dimensions you want printed. Do not rely on us to resize it.
- Fine detail: Keep lines at least 0.02 inch thick. Tiny text and very fine details may not reproduce cleanly.
- Orientation: Do not mirror the artwork.
- Background: Remove unwanted white or colored backgrounds. Check soft edges, glow, and shadows before uploading.
Before uploading
- Check spelling, names, dates, and the number of designs.
- View the artwork at its intended print size to catch pixelation or thin lines.
- Confirm that transparent areas are truly transparent and that nothing is cut off at the edges.
- For a gang sheet, leave space between designs and keep everything inside the 12-inch-wide print area.
Other printed products
Artwork needs can vary for banners, signs, business cards, apparel, and gifts. Start with the highest-quality original file available and use the size and upload instructions on the specific product page. If a product needs bleed, a safe area, or a particular file format, follow its product instructions before ordering.
